<a href="http://kansieo.com/members">Caffeinated Content - Members-Only Content for WordPress</a>

I have studied progressions more than most 'experts' who write books saying how terrible they are without actually doing any kind of research or testing. Here is the truth about progressions:

Progressions usually give you an enormous edge over the house, but are losers most of the time. They give you an edge because as long as you never lose that last bet, you always have an expectation of winning. The problem is, long losing streaks happen more often than you expect, and you will most often hit one before doubling your money.

As far as your goes, I first off do not believe you are winning $25 to$75 an hour. There are no tables games in the casino that deal 75 hands an hour, and you're claiming to win, not just play, as much as 75 hands an hour. You may be winning a decent amount because once you hit the third level you're winning $2 once you clear the progression, but I still don't believe you win much more than $15 an hour, assuming you never tip dealers or cocktail waitresses.

I'm sure you can win some with this system, but you are playing 2 games with terrible house edges, so the first thing I'd suggest is switching games. For even money progressions, my suggestions is to play the don't pass line at the craps table. I don't know where you play, but $1 and $2 minimum bet tables can be found here in Vegas. In my opinion, long losing streaks are less common on the don't pass line than anywhere else in the casino.

As far as money management goes, here's my suggestion. In my experience, most progressions bust out most often after winning between 50% and 125% of your bankroll. So for your systems, you should typically lose after winning $80 and before winning $200. This is not set in stone, but if you ran through the the system 1,000 times, this is where you would most often lose. So, if you want to maximize your winning sessions, you should set a win goal of less than $80 per day. Ideally, I'd suggest about $50 a day, but I understand that's not a whole lot so you may go more. If you continue, I would suggest stopping no later than after wining about 75% of your buy-in, or $120. After that, you can expect that you will most likely lose that day if you continue to play.

Good luck and have fun. As I said, do NOT expect to be a long term winner, but you can win some money and have fun in the short term with this strategy.

Is your strategy a winner? No, but it's close. The big problem with it is long term.

You win $1(ish) with each progression (each series of losing bets, followed by one winning bet.) As long as you never lose 7 bets in a row, you'll end up winning money.

The problem is, the odds of losing those bets (and you're entire bankroll) is almost 1%, and since you'll have to play MORE than 100 progressions to double-up, odds are that you'll crap out the $160 BEFORE you can double it.

In fact, I'm almost positive your LONG-TERM odds (chances of winning vs pay-off) on that strategy are actually WORSE than putting the whole $160 on '17' and letting the roulette wheel spin.

<a href="http://kansieo.com">casino war</a>

Sry mate, there's no substitution for skill games. If you play those chance games, you get a nice rush but have no control over if you win or lose.

And that's not all - luck plays a gigantic part in this strategy. If you start out winning, all you're doing is upping the ante. It's a classic gambler's trap. If you win, you're putting your winnnings and your bet in again for double or nothing and you risk going on an uncontrollable gambling rampage. If you lose consistantly or lose after making such a great run, you're prone to go on tilt (which means you'll do stupid stuff like bet lots on long-shots)

This strategy works mathematically, but only if the odds are truly 1:1. Casinos never do that. Even in roulette, where you have red/black bets. Casinos add in the tricksy 0 and 00 slots to skew the odds in their direction.

You're better off gambling at something that requires skill on your part - or not gambling at all.

<a href="http://kansieo.com">casino war</a>

There is no game in a casino that you have an edge on. Casinos are built on the people who loss on there games, not win. Now every now and then you will see people hit the big jackpot, but that is to few and far between. As an example at the Sahara they have a 1954 classic car as its grand prize, and i can tell you that it has been there for more then 2 years and no one has won it yet, and I'm sure with the money won so far by the casino they could buy another 100 new cars. So any bet made in a casino has a negative expectation. So i do wish you luck but it is an uphill fight all the way.

To quote almost every casino boss and owner in the world, "we want anyone in our casino who thinks they have a strategy to beat the casino."

<a href="http://mycaffeinatedcontent.com">Caffeinated Content</a>

Avoid those kind of slot machine/money wheel-type games altogether, for starters. Also, avoid low-limit games. You'll have tourists playing $5 blackjack, and since they don't know anything about basic strategy, they'll mess up the whole shoe and make life miserable for everone, dealer included (because the dealer gets no tips on losing hands!)

You want to play blackjack, craps or mini-baccarat with skilled players who know what they are doing. The biggest "suckers" at the casinos are the low-limit people who flock to slot machines, video poker, keno and "novelty" -type table games (like Caribbean Stud and Casino War). The casinos thrive on their ignorance. Slot machines are pre-programmed to take your money, "loose" or not, so that should be a heads-up right there.

You need to have a solid bankroll, and know when to bet big, and when not to. On mini-bac that's the reason why those little old Asian ladies bet 15-30 for a while, then suddenly go 2000-5000 when they sense a really good hand.

It just takes a lot of guts, patience, money and experience.

Most even odds:

---Pass line on Craps (be sure to have a good shooter!)
---Banker side on Baccarat/Mini-Baccarat
---A no-midshoe blackjack game played only by experienced patrons, and dealt by excellent dealers.

P.S---be sure to tip the dealers!
